A recent arrival...

Having donated to the great One Laptop Per Child programme, one of the first machines off the production line finally arrived here at GU.

So very different in reality than I thought it would be.

First impressions: smaller, more different interface & apps than anticipated, poorer key board & mouse...but overall, a fantastic achievement and huge respect to all the inspirational people who're making this happen.

More when I've had a chance to play with it properly.
